(Hebrews 7:16) Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

(Hebrews 7:18) For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

(Hebrews 7:19) For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

(히브리서 7:16) 그분은 육신에 속한 명령에서 나온 율법에 따라 제사장이 되신 것이 아니요, 다만 끝없는 생명의 권능에 따라 되신 것이라.

(히브리서 7:18) 이는 이전에 나온 명령이 그것의 약함과 무익함으로 인하여 무효화 되는 일이 진실로 있기 때문이라.

(히브리서 7:19) 이는 율법이 아무것도 완전하게 하지 못하였으나 오히려 더 좋은 소망의 도래가 그것을 이루었기 때문이라. 그 소망에 의하여 우리가 하나님께 가까이 다가가느니라.
